• Registration for Academic Year 2018-2019

    Registration will be held on:

    • March 25th: Al-Furqan Staff (for their children and siblings only)
    • April 15th: Al-Furqan School returning students
    • April 22nd: New students.

    For Kindergarten registration, the student must be 5 year or older on Aug 31st 2018, cutoff date being Aug 31st, 2013 for the current session. Please bring a copy of the birth certificate for Kindergarten registration for date of birth verification.
    Tuition payment is expected at the time of registration. Tuition covers the entire school year including textbooks, uniform, and snacks. Parents and students can read the Parent-Student Handbook posted on our website for more information.
    Tuition can be paid by cash or check only. Our revised tuition rates will be as follows:
    • $400 - 1 student
    • $550 - 2 students
    • $700 - 3 students
    • $850 - 4 students
    • $1000- 5 students

    Al-Furqan School will offer tuition discounts to the families who are volunteering for the school. There will be 50% discount for full time volunteers who are serving here every Sunday. There will be 25% discount for part time volunteers serving for at least 2 hours every Sunday.
    Please come prepared with the uniform shirt size, so the registration process goes quicker. Please select shirt size carefully as we will order shirts on the basis of your selection. There will not be an option to change it later.
    Blue Shirts Elementary level: (Size Width Length) Small 15in 17in, Medium 17in 19in, Large 20in 25in, Adult Small 17in 26.5in
    Green Shirts Middle and High School level: (Size Width Length) Small 18in 27in, Medium 21in 29in, Large 22in 30in, XL 24in 31in, 2XL 25in 31in
    Registration to Al-Furqan School is on a first come first served basis. If a class gets filled up, students are put on a wait list in the order they come to register. Al-Furqan school will continues to register new students in grades that have open spots left.

  • School Bell Schedule with Day Light Savings Time

    Please note that Day Light Savings Time will begin this Sunday, March 11, 2018. There will be change in Al-Furqan School bell schedule and our Dismissal time will be 1:20PM. IAR has decided to follow the same Iqama time (1.35pm) for Duhar salah throughout the year so we will follow this schedule through our entire academic year.
    Starting March 11, our schedule will be:

    • 9:45AM - Student Arrival
    • 10:00AM - 11 AM First Period
    • 11:00AM - 12:00 PM Second Period
    • 12:00 PM - 12:30PM Lunch Break
    • 12:30 PM - 01:20PM Third Period
    • 1:20 PM Dismissal
    • 1:35 PM - Duhar Salah

  • Al-Furqan School Parent Teacher Conferences:

    Al-Furqan School Parent teacher conferences are scheduled on Sunday, 28th January 2018 insha'Allah. An invite will be sent via emails, please choose a time slot of your preference and submit.

  • IAR Youth Committee Clubs & Sessions

    The Youth Committee at the IAR is offering a wide variety of Clubs and Sessions for our youth. So far we have Adhan & Iqamah Club, Science Club, Technology Club and Career Club. Generally all clubs and sessions require registration and are 6 weeks long from 6:30pm to 8:00pm with breaks for Salah. Youth will have the opportunity to network with other youth and with our professional community members while gaining a skill. Our goal is to offer more Clubs & Sessions as they become available.   • Al-Furqan School Closed for Winter Break

    Al-Furqan School will be closed December 24th and December 31st for winter break. School will resume on January 7, 2018 insha’Allah.

  • Mid Term Exams

    Al-Furqan School mid-term exams are scheduled for Sunday, December 17th. Teachers will provide preparation guidelines on wiki or Class Dojo during the next week.

  • School Closed on Nov. 26

    Al-Furqan School is closed on Sunday, 26th November due to Thanksgiving break. School will resume on Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 insha’Allah.

  • New Dismissal Times

    We will follow our fall schedule starting Sunday, November 5th 2017.
    Our new dismissal time will be 12:50pm.

    10.50AM-11.40AM Second Period
    11.40AM-12.05PM Lunch Break
    12.05PM-12.50PM Third Period
    12.50PM Dismissal
    1.00PM Duhar Salah (students are required to pray as part of our curriculum)
    We strongly recommend all Al-Furqan School girls to pray Duhar Salah in the Second Floor Musallah (sister’s musallah).
